As Dalton watched the three of them, he let Ace go and watched him run out the portrait hole, most likely to go find Saiph. "I don't think there is any more dispute." he sad, looking at Eta, the glare of his eyes still cold though.

Anthony slumped into one of the remaining chairs, his wand still held loosely. "You would think that some of the new Slytherins were mudbloods, seeing as they were throwing up all over the place. Their whining is unbearable. And you," he waved his wand in Jessica's general direction, "Didn't stay long enough to direct the stupid brats. Some prefect ehh?" He snorted, his good mood about being home ruined by all the Slytherins throwing up.

Jessica rolled her eyes. "Well, I'm sorry I had better things to do than deal with snotty little first years. I did hand out a few detentions if it makes you feel any better." She frowned over at Anthony. "I'm sure you did a fine job on your own."

"And Willie," Eta said tracing Dalton's collar line with her index finger, "if your cat kills my snake," she stopped at his ear and whispered heartlessly, "I'll kill you and your beloved cat." She waved with her fingers and let out a creepy little giggle, heading to the girls' dorms.

Dalton contained himself from lashing out at her and just smirked. "Killing runs in your family, but so does dying trying to do so..." he called after her, his hand resting on his wand inside of his pocket. Under his breath, he muttered an incantation for a protection shield around him, just incase.

Eta summoned Saiph, he landed with a soft hiss on her pillow. She looked around, "Did you kill the cat?" she asked in a hush. The snake shook his head. "Ah well, the year is young."
She put on her bedclothes and crawled under her covers, taking out a book of ancient muggle toture tactics she'd taken a shine to. Uncle Lucius had purchased the thing from a witch selling muggle books on a street kiosk a few weeks back.
"These might keep you out of magical trouble," he had muttered in the most heartless tone. "They are...repulsively elementary, but I do believe you will be entertained."
The diagrams were what caught her initial interest, she had no use for the words. She was saddened that the images didn't work the same way a magical book would, but managed to set it aside.
