Andi is the type of person that will wear you out if you're around her too often. She's almost always a cheerful person, but she does have her moments. Many people would classify Andi as a little ball of energy, as she is constantly going. She is a very active person, and can be found on the Quidditch Pitch at almost any time, if she isn't in the Hospital Wing that is. To go along with her hyper-activeness, she is very clumsy. Her ability to trip over air, matched with the fact that she never stops moving usually leads to disaster. Andi has broken more bones, and gathered more scars in her fifteen years than the average person does in a lifetime.
Andi is also known to be a troublemaker. There is never a time when she isn't thinking up some kind of plot to cause mayhem, or in the middle of causing a school-wide disaster. She has a very devious mind that, when put to use, could come up with an idea to do anything. Unfortunately for her, she has little patience, and only thinks things out part of the way, leaving many things to fate. And, as fate has it, Andi's plans tend to end in major detention, or life-threatening situations. The few times that her plans work all the way through, it means trouble for the Slytherins. Her tendency to cause trouble takes away from her time to do homework, and she is quite the slacker, always doing things last minute.
Andi is very big on house rivalry, mainly due to her obsession with Quidditch. Andi is the type of person that would refuse to talk to anyone but her team for the weeks leading up to the final match. She is very bull-headed and never backs down from a challenge, even if she has to put her life on the line. Andi is more risky than is healthy, and holds to the belief that no matter what she does, nothing she could do is more dangerous than being a werewolf. So, in Andi's mind she has nothing to fear and can do as she pleases.
Andi is very protective of her friends, and would do anything for them. She sometimes worries that they would be better off without her, as she turns into a monster once a month. Her father has told her the story of when Severus Snape was almost lured into the Shrieking Shack during a full moon, which would have brought about his death. This bothers Andi, because she fears the worst when it comes to her other being. She hates being a werewolf, and if she can help it she hides the fact from everyone, especially her friends. She doesn't want them to leave her because of it, but she does wish they knew so that she didn't have to hide it from them all of the time.
When it is near the full moon, Andi blocks herself off from the rest of the world. Her physical appearance changes, and she looks sickly whenever it comes. She is very volatile during the week beforehand, and almost anything could set her off. She tries to avoid people, even her friends, just as a precaution. Her thoughts are consumed with worry that someone might stumble into the Shrieking Shack and that she wouldn't be able to control herself. Andi always feels that she needs to protect everyone else from her monstrous form.
History:
Andi was born on March 31st, a premature baby, her birth wasn't supposed to happen for about another month. Her parents were both happy, and sad the day of her birth. They were happy to finally have a daughter to call their own, but their suspicions were brought about even more. Andi was born on a full moon. The one thing that her parents had worried about with her birth, was the possibility that she could be a werewolf. Their fears hadn't been confirmed, but they were starting to be more rational.
The first five years of Andi's life, she was watched after constantly. Her parents watched over her like hawks, always searching for the sign that would assure them of her "furry little problem" Andi almost never left the house, and was never allowed to do what the normal kids did. She would always watch the other kids playing out the window, and promise herself that someday she would be out there joining in.
A few weeks after her seventh birthday, which was celebrated in the familiar setting of her house, Andi hatched a plan. She was sick and tired of these four walls, she was going outside to play. Andi stuck around the house, not causing any trouble for the duration of the day. Her parents seemed to notice that she was a bit more fidgety than usual, and her mother kept a closer watch. Under the illusion that Andi was going to sleep, her parents settled down in their room for a nap, that's when Andi took control.
Andi dressed herself in dark clothes, and snuck out the kitchen window. There was a group of older kids hanging out at the park a few blocks from her house, and that's where Andi was headed. It took her awhile to get to the park, and it was nearly dark when she arrived. The other kids shunned her, calling her many names, and making fun of her. Andi was hurt, but she wasn't going to leave. She'd finally gotten what she wanted and she wasn't giving it up. All that changed when night fell, and the full moon shone down on Andi.
No one could have seen it coming, not even Andi herself. No one could have known that it was to be the night Andi would first transform into a werewolf. That night would go down to be one of the worst werewolf attacks of the year. Two were killed, and two more critically injured. Andi had run home after she'd done it, and her parents found her in the morning on the front porch, a weeping mess.
After that, they moved away from the neighborhood. They moved closer to the Potters and the Weasley's, that way Tonks and Remus could have help looking after Andi. Remus worked in the Ministry, fighting for the rights of magical creatures. Tonks was now a stay at home mother. They weren't very well off, but they had the help of the Potter's and the Weasley's. Andi never realized the financial problems the family had, she loved being where they were.
After that one incident, Andi was locked in the basement every full moon until she could learn to control herself. At age 8, Andi showed her first signs of magic when she busted the door to the basement, and all the magic keeping it shut. It was a close call, but Remus was able to fight her back into the basement. Andi still has the scar from that day on her cheek. It's in the shape of a halfmoon, and whenever Remus sees it, he regrets his actions.
Now, if Andi juts her cheek out when she pouts, Remus woud give into almost anything.
