CParch is basically instant messaging between the characters.
Each house has it's own chat that only the house's member's can reply to.
You can have character to character chats as well, just state in the subject line who it is between.
You can have open chats between everyone, just but [[open]] in the subject line.
Any clubs or Quidditch teams can have chats as well.
If I forgot anything just post the question on here and I'll fix it. =]
