Andi looked over at Roan with an amused expression on her face. "Nice one Roan.. I thought I was the one that did all of the tripping?" She shifted awkwardly unsure of what to say. Well... now what? He knows what I am.. and he's not running away? Why isn't he leaving? He just has to be a stubborn ass doesn't he.

Roan scrambled up to sit up against the tree, next to Andi but not enough that she could she his face. "First of all Andi... you're an idiot." Speaking quicker and louder, he cut off what Andi was going to say. "For you to think that I wouldn't like you, that I wouldn't help you, that I wouldn't want anything to do with you, just if I knew that... that you had a furry little problem... makes you an idiot." He turned to her now. "Andi, I'm always going to be your best friend, no matter what." He hesitated "And.. well maybe something more to you..." He finished rather lamely, not sure how to say what he wanted to.

"Wow, that's real nice Roan. Call me an idiot why don't you. You're the one that's trying to get mixed up with a.. a monster. I could kill you Roan, don't you realize that? Kill you.. or worse. You could get changed.. into a.. a beast like me. I would kill myself if I did that to anyone." Andi shuddered. "I wouldn't wish this upon my worst enemy, let alone my best friend."

Roan shook his head. "This again Andi? What don't you get? I don't care what happens to me, I care about you. You aren't a beast or a monster! You just have a... problem... once a month. That doesn't make you a monster! It's what you do with yourself that makes you what you are. Look at your dad. I don't think anyone would call him a monster. He didn't let his problem stop him! Could you be a monster? I suppose so. You could take after Fenrir Grayback, if you really want to be a monster. But you aren't like that. Please Andi... let me be there for you."

"Well, my dad had people there to help him. The Marauder's were always there to help him. They were illegal animagi for him, and honestly Roan I don't think you'd do that for me." Andi shrugged. "Well, if you could even do it. You aren't the brightest kid on the block." Andi grinned, going back to her usual joking demeanor. She couldn't stay out of it for long, it just wasn't her style.

Roan nearly groaned, straining his mouth muscles so he wouldn't laugh. It was hard enough being serious without Andi joking around. Well, why should he do something he wasn't any good at? Time to be himself. He smiled, saying "Well maybe you're right, but I know my way around a thing or two. You know, you had quite a big night, so I'll leave you be. I got to check up on something about animagi in the library." He cocked his head, still looking at Andi. "And Andi... you know how I feel." He swooped down and gave her a kiss, nothing major, but right on the lips, then swung around the tree, half walking half sliding down the slope toward the school.

"The library-" She started before he swooped down. She wasn't surprised that he'd done it, she just wasn't expecting it. Alex had told her for years that they'd end up together as some sort of Dastardly Duo that wrecked havoc on everything they crossed. Andi had just laughed it off, but she was never really sure how she felt about Roan. He really isn't all that bad of a kisser... She mused as he left.

Roan walked toward the school, hands in his pockets, whistling. Now for the library... Thank god I'm great at transfiguration, or what I'm thinking of would really be impossible... He glanced back at the rise where Andi was. It didn't matter whether it was possible or not, he was going to do it. He mentally ran over everything Professor McCoy had taught them about animagi. A whole lot on everything but how to do it. He sighed. This definitely wasn't going to be easy.
((Roan is going to the library, no idea about Andi))

Andi sighed and leaned back. She knew that Roan would try, and try hard, but did she really want him to do that? He could get sent to Azkaban. It wasn't just another silly prank, it was a sirius crime. It's not like he could actually do it right? He doesn't know how.. we didn't really learn. Although... knowing him.. he won't give up until he does learn...
