((Continued from First Class ((Fifth years))
Roan's heart lurched when he saw Andi drop to the floor in pain. He tried to force the door open, but Remus was holding it closed, some how still standing as tremors ran through his body, and fur ran along his arms. He stared in shock as his best friend and her dad transformed into werewolves. Like the pieces of a puzzle, everything was falling into place rapidly. His first emotion was anger. Anger at Andi for not telling him, for thinking he wouldn't be her friend, that he wouldn't care about her anymore. He stared out at his friend, wishing that he could be with her, to comfort her. He pounded his hands against the door, but there really wasn't anything to do. He gazed sadly at Andi feeling wretched.
Remus dropped to all fours as the curse ran through his body. He had long ago learned the trick of separating himself from his body so he didn't feel the brunt of the pain as he changed. He came back, concentrating on staying on all fours without shaking. He glanced at Andi, who was managing to handle herself, but could lose it at anytime. He remained alert, not daring to glance at Roan to see how he was faring.

Andi senses were heightened. She could feel the increased pace in Roan's heartbeat, she could hear his light gasp as she shook on the floor, and she could see the slight tremors as he moved. It took everything she had not to attack, her wolvish senses were trying to take over. She fought as hard as she could, trying to restrain herself and stay in her own mind. Tremors shook through her body as the pain of the transformation made itself aware.

Remus stayed ready in case Andi lost control, balancing on his paws. If anything, as horrible as being a werewolf was, it was amazing to feel the surge of power. That being said, even with the wolfsbane, you had to always control yourself, or else. He gnawed on one of the stairs to keep himself occupied.
Roan only had eyes for Andi, ignoring the larger wolf prowling by his room. He was deeply concerned for her, and the momentary anger that she thought he wouldn't want anything to do with her if he knew her secret was long gone. He could almost feel the anguish Andi must be feeling, because it was mirrored on his face that there wasn't anything he could do to help her at the moment.

Andi's eyes glazed over as her wolvish sences won the battle. Her eyes turned a deep shade of yellow and her nose perked up. She snuffled around to pick up Roan's scent. Her ears tuned into Roan's breathing and she barreled towards the stairs. She no longer had any human thoughts, her mind fully focused on killing and blood. She had a wild look in her eyes and her large wolflike body attacked the door.

Roan leaped backed from the door, instinctively drawing his wand. He quickly ran through any spells that might help him. Another tremor ran through the already scarred door, and he flicked his wand at a bed and sent it against the door. He frowned, trying to think of a way of dealing with Andi that wouldn't hurt her.
Remus threw himself against his daughter, bringing them both to the floor. He gripped the floor with his claws, and dug his head into her throat, preventing her from snapping at him. He snapped his wolf elbows down, trying to prevent her from gouging him.

Andi thrashed about, trying her hardest to break free of her father's iron grip. She snarled menacingly at him as she strained to turn her head. Unable to go through with her original plan she resorted to kicking at his exposed underbelly with her lethal claws. She dug into him as hard as she could and attempted to kick him off of her. Normally Andi would never harm him in her state of wildness but with Roan there she lost all control. In the morning when Andi learned of the pain she had caused her father she would go into hiding for days. She hated hurting him or anyone else for that matter.

Remus rolled and threw Andi against the banister, trying not to show how much pain it caused him. Andi wasn't herself, and she was extremely dangerous to Roan. He grabbed the scruff of her neck and swiftly dragged her down the stairs, locking them both onto the couch, in an almost human pose. Remus was behind her, holding her paws and jaws, and keeping her from breaking his grip. He snarled as Andi scored a hit down his flank. He pressed her harder into the eaten up sofa, trying to get her to control herself. The tiny bit of Wolfsbane wasn't enough for total control, but she could retain some sense occasionally.
Roan was once again at the door, peering anxiously out of the holes in it. He could glimpse the struggle below, wishing with all his heart there was something he could do. For now all he could do was watch.

Andi strained her neck, trying to snap at her dad. She dug into the couch, desperatly trying to escape. She kept at it until her limbs were heavy and she was frothing at the mouth. Regardless, she was held tight. Suddenly Andi regained some control and went limp, flattening against the couch, her mind swimming. She kept in control, but just barely. Weak from her struggles, Andi drifed into a restless sleep, hardly able to keep concious.

Remus slacked off a bit, sliding off the couch. He nosed Andi gently off the couch and she automatically curled up on the rug. He draw a rattling breath, as close to a sigh as a wolf could get. He padded over the the boarded up window and attempted to look at the moon. It was now descending, so it had to be past midnight. He heard a door slam, and he whirled around.
Roan burst out of the room when he saw Andi fall unconcious. All this, then she's hurt even more? It was too much for Roan to stay inside the room. He took the stairs five at a time, until he was stopped by Remus, hackles raised. He vaulted over the side and rushed to Andi. Later, it would occur to him just how stupid a move that was, but for the moment, it didn't seem that stupid. He placed his hand lightly on her fur. He sensed Professor Lupin besides him, ever watchful. They spent the rest of the night like this, Remus tensing whenever Andi stirred. Eventually, the full moon slipped behind the mountains. Roan was blearly eyed, but still alert.

Andi shuddered with pain as her transformation began. She was instantly awoken and she cried out in pain. She was soon back to her normal self, except for the fact that she was lying on the ground shaking with pain. The transformations were still horrendous for her and she could hardly stand the shots of pain that stabbed through her. She whimpered as the pain started to subside.

Remus howled as the moon disappeared, falling on his side and writhing on the floor. The pain that accompanied transforming back was almost welcoming, but it was still pain.
Roan glanced in shock at the two of them, then in slight relief as he realized what was happening. He wasn't prepared for the amount of pain that showed on their faces however. It was this surprise that held him as they transformed into their normal selves. He held Andi as she wimpered, whispering her name over and over, as he waited for her pain to stop.

Slowly the pain left Andi's body and she sat panting on the floor. She looked around the room to see what had taken place. Oh my god.. What have I done? He looks horrible. Her eyes filled with worry as she looked over at her father, he had large cuts from where her claws had ripped into him. She was relatively unharmed except for a few light scratches and a couple of large bruises. Angry with herself she tore out of the shack and back towards the castle. Not quite sure where she was headed she just kept running.

"Andi!" Roan cried, jumping up and following Andi. Staying awake the entire night had severely weakened him, so he nearly lost her a couple times, but he was determined to keep up. He didn't slacken his pace and kept after Andi.
Remus groaned and rolled over, looking around the room. Andi and Roan weren't there, and he wondered briefly where they were. He looked down and winced at his wounds. He limped over to his medicine bag and pulled a couple potions and his wand out of it. He grimaced as he poured the potion over his wounds, and the blood disappeared, but not the wound. He sighed and leaned against the wall, blinking in the early sunlight.

Andi looked around the Hogwarts grounds and decided on sitting under the big tree next to the lake. The lake always calmed her down when she was worried. She leaned back and breathed in deeply for a few minutes. Damn.. I left my wand in the shack. I don't want to go back and get it right now though. I'll sneak back later... or something.

Roan stumbled through the trees, making his way toward where Andi disappeared last. Searching around frantically, he finally saw her sitting under the big tree besides the lake. He ran as quickly as he could over there, but he was nearly out of energy. He tripped as he neared her, sending himself sprawled out in front of Andi. He pushed himself up, nearly collapsing again. He looked over and saw Andi, and he smiled. "Andi..." He said, blinking rapidly, and extremely tired.
