Remus stormed into the school, his hair and cloths dripping. Taking out his wand, he quickly siphoned off most of the water. He had spent the entire feast searching the train and looking for Andi. Shaking his head he walked into the great hall, where most of the students were getting up and leaving. He quickly scanned the room, searching for any sign of Roan or his daughter. He looked towards the Gryffindor table and he could have sworn that he saw Andi and Roan laughing but then a group of Hufflepuffs passed in front of him and he lost them.
Roan was talking with Andi we he happened to turn around and see Lupin come into the hall. "Ohh crap!" he said under his breath. He yanked Andi to her feet. "Come one!" he hissed, "Your dad is here! Time for us to disappear..."

"Wow, it took him longer than usual. I guess the rain slowed him down a bit. Last year he was on us before we could start dessert." Andi shrugged. She hopped up from the table and went around behind the Gryffindor table. Crouching low she sped towards the door to the Entrance Hall. "We should be able to get past him. He looks really angry though... for once, it might be in out best interest to go talk to him. He might let us off easier." Andi considered the possibilities. I can talk to him now and get let off easy, or continue avoiding him and get in even more trouble.. Haha, it's been a long day. I'd best go in white flags waving. Andi put on her most innocent grin and walked over to her father. "Hi daddy. Have a good train ride? A bit late to the feast this year. You know mum told you to eat as much as you could before we went home again." She stood next to him innocently gazing up at his angry face.

Roan trailed behind Andi and gave Lupin a nervous wave. He looks pretty livid... He thought.
Remus looked hard at both of them. "Andi, Roan, follow me now," he barked, and without a backwards glance he stomped up to his office, waiting impatiently for Andi and Roan before slamming the door shut. "Do you have any idea how much stress you caused me and your other teachers?" He said, barely keeping his voice under control.

Andi shuffled slightly as she thought about what to say. She hated doing this to her father, she really did want to make him proud. "Sorry dad. We were just excited to get back to Hogwarts. We came straight here and all. I was hungry too... you know why. I can't control that you know." She shrugged. She played the werewolf card whenever she could as it often gave her the upper hand in the argument. Her father felt guilty for passing on his genes to her, it was one of the things that he had feared most about having a child.

Roan sat there with a slightly irritated look on his face. She always would say things like that to her dad, but never explained it to him. He had ideas, but nothing for sure. He breathed out slightly, but not wishing to attract attention to himself.
Remus buried his head in his arms. When he looked up, his angry expression had been replaced by a sorrowful one. "Andi.. I know..." his voice faltered, and he took a breath and started again. "Andi I know that... some things are hard for you. But you shouldn't have gone on ahead. It was dangerous, especially after you were recovering... from being sick." He turned around so he wouldn't have to look at Andi. He felt as if he had shifted an enormous weight onto his daughter's back, and it haunted him every day. "So you both will be getting a weekend worth of detention. I'll tell you exactly what you will be doing later, once something comes up. For now, both of you go to the common room, and don't you dare come out till tomorrow." He said with finality

Andi sighed. A whole weekend of detention? "Dad, I can't take a whole weekend of detention. I have to practice for Quidditch, I am captain you know. I can't have a whole weekend without practice." Andi complained. "Plus, we didn't really do anything wrong. Are there any rules that specifically state that we can't ride ahead to Hogwarts? I would know, I recall last year when the Headmaster told me that I had broken every rule that it was possible to break." Andi grinned at the fond memory.

Remus sighed. "Yes Andi, an entire weekend. Now go to the common room. No more discusion, unless you want it for longer."
Roan quickly pulled Andi's arm, trying to get her out of the room before she started to argue more. "Now come on! We don't want to get in even more trouble. We can deal with only a weekend. If anything, we got off fairly easy!" He grinned at her. As always, he tried to look at the best of things.

Andi sighed. "Right dad. It's only a few more days right? Same place as last year?" Andi was of course referring to the full moon. Last year she stayed holed up in the Shrieking Shack so she couldn't harm anyone. "Yeah, we did get off fairly easy. Still...." she whispered back at Roan.

Remus nodded curtly, and waited for them to leave before slumping down into his chair, and rested his head in his hands. What am I going to do with her? He thought, sighing. He opened one of his trunks and pulled out his potions. It was only a few more days until the full moon. He needed to prepare his Wolfsbane.
"Haha!" Roan punched the air, "We're free!" He grabbed Andi and spun her around a few times. "And not so much as a lecture! You know how much I hate to sit still for too long and pretending to be good." He glanced furtively at the professor's door, to make sure it was closed. "How about pinching down to the Room of Requirement? I stored some butterbeers there last year."

Andi grinned. "I was surprised he didn't lecture us at all. I did pull my secret card on him though.. You know he always gives in when I pull that one." She laughed and glanced back at the door. "Yeah, butterbeer sounds good. I don't really want to go back up anyways, and I doubt he'll be checking up there for another hour or so."

'Alright, it's settled then!" He grinned, "Last one there has to carry the butterbeers?" He tensed himself, ready to spring when she said yes.

"You know your faster than me on your feet. I'm dreadfully clumsy down here. It's a lot different up in the sky though. You aren't near as fast as I am on a broom." Andi nodded. "I'll walk there so I don't fall and make a commotion.. again."

"Ahh boo," he pouted, the grinned when another idea came to him. "Then mebbe, ohh clumsy one, we can adust it more to your terms." He pulled out their brooms from where they still rested in his bag. "Care for a little air surfing?" He tossed Andi's broom in her direction.

Andi grinned and grabbed her broom out of the air. "You know, sometimes you are a genius. I can see why I keep you around now and again." She mounted her broom with the ease of a professional. "Off to the Room of Requirement than?" She kicked off and shot down the hall with the speed of a cheetah weaving in and out between the passing people.

Roan jumped on his broom, standing on it as if he was surfing. He had spent pointless hours mastering how to do this, simply because it was much more fun riding a broom when doing it. He tore down the halls after Andi, catching up to her when she opened a door. He did a flip over her when she yanked open the door, tapping on her head with a huge grin plastered on his face. "Hey! You should probably use your wand for things like that!" He winked at her before zooming father down to the Room of Requirement. Just because Andi was a better flyer than him didn't mean he wasnt a good one himself. He pushed himelf a bit farther. He had won races against Andi before; just not that often. He heard her coming up fast behind him, and he swerved right in front of her.
