"Secretary for the Minister? Very interesting." he said with a thoughtful, but amused expression. "I must say I would've never guess that one...or the french cousin. Whats wrong with her?" he inquired, hoping he wasn't butting in too much. Milo finished up his smoothie and savored the last few drops.

Gwyneth wasn't even half done with her own smoothie. She took a larger sip and the grimaced. "Its whats not wrong with her, acctually. Beautiful, smart, talented, wealthy, a perfect little lady. Unfortunatly her heart is a black hole and she's a snobby brat. The whole of my mother's side of the family is a tad snobby though. They don't talk to her anymore, but unfortunatly they think there is some hope left for me so I still have to visit and play nice with lovely cousin Madeline," she explained, making a face. She was quiet for a moment, taking another sip of her drink, she was almost finished with it. "I'm sorry, I'm probably boring you with my complaints. Thats terribly rude of me."

Milo shook his head, "No, you're not boring me at all. I like to hear you talk, its better than hearing my own voice all the time." he replied dunking his smoothie cup into a charmed trashcan that he made appear with his wand. As soon as the cup was in, it disappeared and he turned his attention back to Gwyneth. "Well I wouldn't worry yourself too much over your cousin. Pretty snobs never level up to a real person anyways. You're much better off."

"Probably, but you might be one of the few that acctually believe that," Gwyneth mused, chuckling. "So, since your graduating next year, Milo, I have to ask. Are you going to be ready to leave?" She had to admit it was a random question. But now that she had asked, she was curious.

Milo thought about that question for a moment, but eventually nodded. "Yes, I am almost sure of it. I will truley miss this place and will probably never learn everything I'll need to know for the real world, but I'm confident enough to say I'll be somewhat prepared. I know a lot about wands, I must say, so that will most likely be my first profession. My unlce is in the business, so hopefully I can start with him as soon as possible." he answered, getting lost in his thoughts about the future as he did so.

She watched him fall into thoughtful silence and nodded. "Understandable, So wands are definatly your thing then? I'll have to remember that. Do you know where you'd want to set up shop? Or does your uncle have a buisness you want to take over?" She decided she'd be nosy for just a little while.

"I'll probably work for my uncle for a bit until I learn more about running a business, then I'll open up a shop here in London." he replied with a smile. They reached the dorm and Milo muttered the password. He stepped into the portrait hole after Gwyneth and took his seat back on the comfy chair. "Here, I'll show you something."
Milo grabbed his bag and pulled out a black case. Opening it, he said, "This is the first wand I've ever made. It still has a few kinks in it that need to be fixed, but its one of my best accomplishments." He gave the wand a wave, but sparks just flew out of the tip and then died out. "It definately doesn't work for me."

Gwyneth took her seat once more, watching in a sort of awe. "Wow, I'm certainly impressed. Was it difficult work?" Well that was a silly question, of course it must have taken alot of work! But she was honestly curious. Wands had never been a subject that she woudl find intresting, probably because there weren't many wand makers around. Very few, from what she had heard.

Milo chuckled slightly and nodded, "Yeah, lots of research and it took a lot of tries, but it wasn't too bad, I enjoy that kind of stuff." he replied, staring into the flickering flames of the fire. "So, what about you, are you going to be ready to graduate?"

"Thats the real magic of things I guess, is how much of yourself you put into the work, and how much pride you take in it," Gwyneth said, glanced at the fire herself. She was quiet again, thinking over her next awnser carefully before responding. "Ready? Of course. I'll miss the people and the experiences, but I'm already ready to hit the real world. Though maybe I'll regret saying that one day," She said, shrugging with a light smile.

"We'll probably all miss this place, I love it here." he said, getting lost in his thoughts for a second. "Do you want to stay in London? Or travel around?" he asked while absentmindedy tapping his thumb on the armrest. He looked from the fire to the window and out at the dark sky, focusing on a star for awhile before returning his gaze back to Gwyneth.

"Travel," She announced after only a moment's thought. She tilted her head to the side and gazed at the fire. "Why waste a lifetime by spending it in one place? " She stood up suddenly, picking up her book and smiling wearily. "Good night Milo," She said turning and heading for the stairs. Well, it had been an eventful night. More eventful than most atleast.
