Well, I come from a fairly simple pureblood family. We're not well known, and we don't need to be. We value making good aquaintences and staying on the better side of the higher families. My family has strong, and very old fashioned beliefs that a daughter should be married off as soon as possible, and a son must find a suitable wife just as quickly.

Pfft, I would've if it had been my choice. But it wasn't. I was simply told that she came from a proud French family with respectible background and would be a nice, quiet little wife that wouldn't cause problems.
Obviously, thats not the case.
The problem is, Gwyneth's grandmother suggested her, and Gwyn doesn't like her grandmother. Therefore, she doesn't like me. I'm just having trouble getting her to agree.
I've tried talking my father out of it but... He doesn't seem to think a female Ravenclaw could possibly put up a fight.[/color]
