"Okay so what is the problem you guys are having?" he asked as he began to follow Anthony down the hall.
Anthony nearly sighed as he noticed the two years trailing the proffesor. He bent down, going to thier level. "Hey you two. Are you guys first years?" he waited for their nods, and then continued. "Look, there is something kind of important going on right now," Anthony fished into his pocket and pulled out two galleons. "You guys go down to the front of the train and look for an old witch pushing a trolley. She sells all types of treats, and it's one of the best things about the train. You guys go buy yourselves something." Anthony said, smiling kindly before straigthning up and moving along the hall.

Thomas fumed silently, not liking the condescending tone, but he took the galleon and followed a beaming Charlie toward the front of the train. Thomas already had plenty of treats back in the first compartment, so he gave his galleon to Charlie, "Here, I already have treats." He turned to go back into the compartment alone, but Charlie stopped him.
"Gee! Thanks! Don't you want to come with me though? It won't take long. That's what friends do right?"
Friends? Thomas had never had a real friend before. Slytherins didn't need friends. But the idea still sounded nice to him. "Er... Yeah, I guess." Maybe this kid was all right. Albeit a tad annoying, but some of the things he had to say were pretty interesting. He continued down the train with Charlie, letting the Creevey talk, and on the way back from the snack cart they both sucked on chocolate frogs, and Charlie talked some more. Thomas even gave his two cents for a little bit. Having a friend was nice.
Laryn was getting annoyed. Was Lupin even listening? She guessed he was too intent on finding Andi. Bloody Slytherins always have to come up and ruin a perfectly good plan.

Lupin, noticing the look on Laryn's face, stopped and turned around. "Look Laryn, I'm really sorry I can't give your story more attention, but I think something happened to Andi, and really need to find her," he said with a worried look on his face. "So just give me a few minutes to look into this and then I'll answer any Defence Against the Dark Arts questions you have."

Alex thought for a moment. "Fine, just don't hurt her. Lupin's coming.. I can hear him. He's getting close." Alex hopped up onto the railing, hefting Andi along on his back. "You lead the way. I'm not letting you carry her."

Roan rolled his eyes. "Well if your going to be that way, at least use my broom," he said, shifting hisself so he could jump onto the train. Making sure Alex had a firm grip on the broom, he slid off and back into the room. "Fly on ahead, I'll be out in a sec," He yelled above the wind. He sprinted to the door and unlatched it, the crawled back out the window, kicking it shut. Fighting the wind, he began shimmying along the side of the train, looking for an empty compartment.

"Of course, sir... Finding Andi is the most important thing." Laryn backed off a little. Anyway, they were headed toward the same compartment right? Who was she kidding... This plan was definitely not going to work now. But they were Gryffindors... Maybe there was hope for Andi yet if they decided to do something stupid and dangerous that would risk their lives but get them out of this mess.

Alex reluctantly took Roan's broom. He positioned Andi in front of him so he could wrap his arms around her. "Roan, if anything happens you won't live to see tomorrow." He threatened. He took off outside and flew a little ahead. "Which one are we headed too?"
Andi rubbed her head, the drink slowly wearing off. "Oh god.. what are we doing out here? What did you do this time Roan? Are we in trouble?" She asked looking back at him. If anyone had anything to do with it, Roan would be the one.

Pressing close to the train to avoid a tree near the tracks, Roan glanced out at the descending sun. We must be nearing Hogwarts, he thought. And sure enough, he caught a glimpse of a tall dark building when the train rounded another bend. There was still quite some ways to though. This part of the train ride went through the mountains; plenty of turns to slow them down. Roan, not paying attention nearly stumbled over the next window. Recovering his balance, he peered inside. "Hey, guys over here! This is our old compartment! It's still empty! And it has our stuff." Roan yelled as Alex and Andi came closer. Andi looked like she was recovering some. Roan kicked open the window (he was really getting to enjoy that) and swung inside. Holding the window open against the wind, he let Alex and Andi in. Laughing, he slumped down against one of seats. "Now that was quite the adventure wasn't it? Exciting and fun! Gotta love it." Getting his half drunk butterbeer from his bag, he downed the rest of it.

Alex easily swooped into the window. He landed in the middle of the room and pulled Andi off the broom and onto a chair. He threw Roan his broom with a bit more force than necessary. "No, it wasn't fun. We could have gotten in so much trouble. Andi doesn't need to be caught drinking by her father before we even get to the school. Stay away from her okay?" Alex glared at Roan and sat down next to Andi. "Are you okay?" He whispered softly.
"Yeah.. I'll be fine." she mumbled. "Until I get busted for killing Roan, that might be potentially bad.." She groggily sat up, the effects of the firewhisky wearing off. "Roan! I'm going to kill you!" She screeched. She flung herself at him and started to pound her firsts into his face. Alex stood by passively, watching with a grin.

"Geroffme!" Roan yelled, rolling out from under the punches. Andi's next punches hit the couch, and Roan rolled back onto her, pressing her down slightly so she couldn't get to him. "What the hell is your problem?!?!" He asked, struggling to keep her from getting to him or turning around. "I'm the one who saved our butts! And it wasn't as if I didn't tell you what was in the cups! You already knew!" He pointed accusing finger toward Alex. "And you didn't even barely help! You stood around saying how I would mess up everything and how all this crap is my fault when your stupid ideas didn't work and I was the one who got us out of there!" Roan was getting angry now.

Andi struggled to get away from him. "Let go of me! I might get Roan germs!" She said with a giggle. "And, Alex was the one that flew me out of there. You would have dropped me on my head out the window and wished me luck."
Alex's grin quickly turned into a snarl. "Actually, I'd have to say without Laryn and Jackie we'd have been toast. It's them that deserves all the credit for this. We'd have gotten caught a lot earlier."

Roan rolled his eyes. "Yes, and I'll thank them next time I see them." And with that, Roan began to completely ignore Alex. He turned back to Andi laughing. "Your right, I would have dropped you on your head! But that's only because you gave me two huge black eyes so I can't see where I'm going." Roan said, falling side ways on the couch, propping his legs on her shoulder.

"You deserved it you know. You're a right foul git. You know you shouldn't have given me the firewhisky." She pushed his legs off of her shoulders. "And, don't touch me. I'm mad at you." She huffed. "Thank you Alex. I'll have to thank those two soon. They really are fantastic." \
"Yeah, they've saved you from more trouble than you're worth." Alex muttered. "You really should stop getting into trouble. If it requires you to get away from Roan, than so be it." Alex was ready to ignore Roan as well.

Alnitak bit at the rungs of his cage, trying to get free. "Stop that, you. I can't afford you a new cage, I've got very little allowance with me and I need to use it sparingly," Cygnus snapped. "I told you, I'll turn you free when we get off the blasted train, bloody hell."

Roan groaned and rolled off the couch. Still laying down, he rumaged through his bag. Pulling his robes and something else out, he yanked them on over his head. Getting up, he grabbed Andi's robes from on top of her bag and tossed them over her head. "Awwww, your mad at me?" he said, sitting down next to her and putting his arm over her shoulders and waving something in front of her face. "Then whatever am I going to do with this pure Belgian chocolate bar I picked up in Germany over the summer? Might even have to eat it myself!" he said with a gleam in his eye.
