Thomas followed his father down the dark alleyway. He had already finished his school shopping and his father was going to teach him about the art of business. In other words: His mother had a headache and his father had an errand to run and had been forced to take his son along.
"Keep up or I'm leaving you here. You've already cost us enough galleons anyway..." His father muttered. Nothing like father son bonding. Thomas didn't care though. He got everything he wanted from his mother.

Anthony was walking quickly along one of the little used alley ways in Knockturn alley.. Well he was pacing more than walking. He needed to find a fellow Slytherin, but not one that connected to him... again. He heard footsteps down the alleyway. He quickly concealed himself, and watched a father and what looked like a chubby first year son pass him by. The son was definitly lagging behind though... Anthony suddenly had an idea. He effortlessly started trailing them.

Thomas fussed with his new wand. The stupid wand maker said it had chose him, but it had seemed to only let out a few weak sparks when he shook it. He expected something explosive and grand. A short wand for a short boy. that's what Olivander had said. Buy did that make him angry... His wand was the most pathetic wand he had ever seen. "Bloody wand... Bloody wandmaker..." He spit out under his breath, shrugging off the feeling of being followed. As long as his father stayed in view he was fine. Right?

'Phew!' Eta breathed a sigh of relief. Thank god. She had ducked around the corner while dear old Aunt Cissy was looking at some books on a table. She looked carefully around the corner, seeing her baffled aunt make her way down the cobbled path of Diagon Alley.
She turned around, a slightly odd feeling creeping over her. Though she didn't fear the place, Eta was not much a fan on Knockturn Alley.
She took a few steps before having to pull up her hood and duck into a shop before her Uncle, who was just leaving Borgin and Bourkes, could notice her. As soon as she'd seen him pass. Having not paid close enough attention, she ran straight into sluggish little Thomas.
Her hood fell back before she could prevent it. She turned to see an elderly witch, about 90 or so years of age. "You! You!" The woman screamed in fear.
Eta suddeny remembered why she never got out of the house much. She tugged her hood back over her head and turned back around.

Andi slipped out of one of the shady shops along the street with a small bag under her cloak. She had to come to Knockturn Alley routinely for ingredients to make her Wolfsbane potion. Without it, her monthly transformations would be deadly. She hurried along the street hoping not to be noticed. She turned around still moving forward when she came to a halt right in front of a group of Slytherins. She cursed silently hoping they wouldn't recognize her.

Anthony silently cursed. With that seventh year around, it would be harder to... ahh... convince the kid to do something for him without suspicion. He walked up to them, moving with the shadows, and waited til he was right up besides them both. The dad was out of sight. Anthony had two courses of actions up to him. One, he could simply wait, and spring when Eta was gone, or he cold show himself, and use that to his advantage. He was still debating when he saw a Gryffindor approach. He nearly graoned, but simply stayed out of sight, patient.

Well, this was just awkward, Eta thought. And now she was caught in a jam. This was just...grand. She muttered to herself as the old hag behind her continued to scream her insults in a language Eta didn't undertand.

Thomas fumbled into the old woman who, lucky for him, was shouting at someone else. His father seemed to have ignored the whole commotion though, and wandered off. Perfect. Just perfect. He turned to whoever got him into this mess.
"Bloody hell! Make her stop yelling!" He covered his ears, still clutching his petty wand in his hand.

"I don't know what she's screaming for!" Eta shouted. And then drew her wand. "Silencio!" She shouted and with that the woman's voice was instantly muted. "Wretched old crone," Eta muttered in disgust. She turned comingface to face with Lucius. He gave her a wicked glare and grabbed her arm.

"I don't believe you!" Thomas yelled. He had yet to notice that the woman had stopped screaming.
Recognizing Mr. Malfoy, he put his hands down and shoved his wand into his robe pocket. The Malfoys and the Goyles were somewhat friends and he learned to respect his father's acquaintances. "Good afternoon Mr. Malfoy."

"Thomas," Lucius spoke with a locked jaw. Eta cringed. "What exactly do you think you're doing down here?" he asked his niece. She shook her head, implying nothing. "Your aunt was looking for you, you had her worried." Lucius spat. "Sorry, Uncle," she retorted, though she was not sorry at all. He glanced over at Gregory for a split second.
"Come," he commanded Eta like a dog, and she followed. Still she kept the hood of her cloak drawn, shielding her face and resemblance from the world.

Jessica trailed after her Grandfather smirking at Eta. "Eta, Eta, can't be getting caught again now can we?" She emerged from the shadows next to her family. She was always popping in and out of the shadows at random times. She was fond of her family, as they too were followers of the Dark Lord.

Anthony noticed Jessica with her grandfather. Now thing were looking up. If he could get the hint to her to stay back with him, Thomas would be even more spooked. A bit overkill, he had to admit, but it would keep the boys trap shut about what he was going to do. Anthony stirred, ever so slightly amongst the shadows. Making sure only one eye emerged from the shadows, he caught Jessica's eyes and held them for a few seconds, then retreated back into the shadows.

Jessica noticed a slight movement in the shadows. She focused her gaze and saw Anthony slowly slipping back into the darkness. She gave him a nod and backed up to wait around. Anthony was a fellow Slytherin and supporter of the Dark Arts. He fit the bill.

Lucius hardly acknowledged his granddaughter, as she was not his responsibility. Though, he did adore her, she was not his concern right now. He'd never been particularly fond of Eta, possibly because he'd never particularly cared for her mother and Father. However, they were more accepted by him than Narcissa's other sister.
Eta scowled at her relative. She didn't care particularly for her family. Truthfully, she might've preferred the consequences if it had been her father finding her.
"Knockturn Alley! What could you possibly have been thinking?!" Lucius spat. He tugged her along until they reached the Apothecary. He produced her to her aunt who had half the mind to beat her right then and there.
Eta stood there and took the public humiliation with her head drooped and her hood still shielding her face.
"You're seventeen! Have you no sense?! Knockturn Alley! I don't even want to think about what could've happened to you!" Narcissa's voice was shrill and made Eta shudder. "At least you'll be off at school and out of trouble. And your teachers ought to keep a taught rein about you if they know what's good for them!"
Eta tuned her out as they continued along Diagon Alley, stopping in random places whilst she was frequently scolded.
