"Oh, they might have mentioned it in passing to me. I am Head Boy after all. I doubt I'll go though, I'm not much of a dance person. Yeah, all of the girls can go weep in their rooms now." Alex grinned. "I might go though, if not to dance than just to make sure everything is in order. It's coming soon I hear. I should probably be helping with some of the decoration or something..."

"Pshh yeah, you're so going. Dancing is easy-all you do is move, and its fun. Besides, if you don't go, who am I suppose to dance with?" she said, and then shook her head. "Nevermind, I'm sure I can find plenty of people to dance with.."

"I don't know who would die first, me or the Creevy kid....but-Oh!! I know." she said excitedly, summoning some paper and a quill. "I'll write a letter to Jack, he'll love to come to the dance. Professor McGonagall loves him, so she'll let him come. You've met him, right? We were going out last year." she ranted, pressing the ink to the parchment, writing out some sentences.

"Oh yeah! He's pretty cool, it'll be good to see him again." Alex nodded. "I don't know who I'll go with, but it couldn't be too hard to find someone. If all else fails, I can take Andi. She'd go with me as a friend." He sat thinking for a moment. "Unless that Roan guy asks her."

As she was half-way done with her letter, she remember about his new job and sighed. "Ugh, nevermind. He's working with those dragons in Germany..." she said, tossing the letter into the firepit. "That would have nightmarish consequences. A prankster with a very troublesome Roan, who is also a prankster."

"Well, maybe he could take some time off for you. I mean, he'd want to go with you.. right?" He shrugged. "Yeah, that would be scary. I'd have to be on my toes following those two all night... I doubt she'll go though. She'd not much of a dance type of person.. Then again, I'd be more worried if she didn't go. Who knows what she could get up to if she was alone for a few hours with all the teachers and prefects in one place." alex sighed dramatically. "What to do with her.."

Kendall shrugged, "I dunno, maybe he's found a girlfriend by now." she replied and then turned her thoughts back to Andi. "I wonder what they're up to now...I saw them together on my way back from McGonagall's office, they were walking down the hall pretty fast."

She nodded in agreement concerning the burning school and injured people. "Isn't that the point?...To find someone to go to the dance with?" asked Kendall, giving him a quizzical look. "How can I do that if I don't know who to ask?"
