""Take deep breaths Andi." Roan had heard that somewhere. It was supposed to help with crap like this. This stuff kept happening to Andi, even worse than the years before. He certainly wished that he could do something, but it seemed to be out of his hands.. and hers. He wondered what was going on with his best friend.

Andi took deep breathes, focusing on the friendly voices surrounding her. She honed in on Roan's voice, her senses inhanced due to the fast approaching full moon. Significantly calmed down she stood up shakily to test her feet. "I'm fine.."

Ya right... Roan thought, but he didn't stay anything just yet; he would talk to her later in private. He was tired of just letting it slide without asking, and he wanted to help his friend in any way possible. "I don't think your fine Andi... you still look fairly shaky."

"Andi, you might do good to go sit in the hospital wing for the rest of the class.. The quiet will help you. Roan could you take her there?" Professor Dulcedo looked over at Andi sympathetically. She knew that it must be hard for her and she would try to help if she could.
Andi nodded and slowly made her way to the door. "Thanks Professor." She called out as she exited the classroom. She leaned on a wall waiting for Roan to come.

Roan walked slowly out of the class after Andi, contemplating what to say. "Listen, Andi... we really need to talk." He started awkwardly. Serious was something he didn't do very well. He led Andi a bit farther down the hall, still not sure how to ask her what was wrong with her. Well, he could say it as simple as that, but he wanted to at least be farther away from the room.

"Sure, that sounds good. What about?" Andi said with a fake cheerful voice. She didn't want to talk about the subject that Roan was bound to bring up, but she couldn't avoid it forever. If she could, she'd never talk about with anoyone, but in time people would find out and her secret would be spread about.

Roan found a classroom that was out of the way of the main halls. He led Andi in and gently closed the door. He took a deep breath and faced her in the semi darkness of the classroom. He placed a hand on her shoulder. "Andi... what's going on? What's happening? Things keep getting worse, and I want to help." Roan pleaded.

Perfect. Favorite thing to talk about really. What am I supposed to say? Oh, well Roan. I'm a werewolf and once a month I turn into a monster that has a desire to kill people. It's okay though. I don't mind. Yeah. Right. "Nothing's going on, just a bit sick.. Really.. I'm perfectly dandy." Andi shrugged. Damnit. Why do I always do that? Now he knows I'm lying.. Dandy..

"You're perfectly dandy? The hell you are. You only use dandy when your lying. Andi, what's going on? I know your not sick, not really. Please tell me. I can help in any way." Roan pleaded again. He really wanted to help Andi. She seemed to have so much resting on her.

"There's nothing wrong. No way you can help either. It's my problem to deal with." Andi said curtly. She didn't want help, she could deal with it on her own. Sure, she might get killed trying, but she didn't want to put anyone else at risk. She couldn't live with herself if someone else was injured at her expense.

"Andi... please let me help you," Roan said, compassion for her filling his voice. She was shouldering something no one should deal with alone, he knew she was. What could possibly be so bad she wouldn't tell him? He wanted so badly to help her, but she kept putting up a wall whenever he tried to help her.

"You can't! I'd let you if I could.. but there's honestly nothing you can do. There's nothing anyone can do... I'm on my own with this." Andi shook her head dejectedly. She didn't want to do this anymore. She hated hiding her true self from everyone, she hated carrying this burden, she just wanted to be normal.

"Andi..." Roan stepped close to her and put his arm around her shoulder. "You know I'll always be here for you right?" He put his other arm around her and squeezed slightly. "I'll be here no matter what, no matter what happens." Roan couldn't express how he was feeling, so he stopped talking and just sat there with her, waiting for her to talk.

"You can't always be there Roan. There's times when there's no one else that can help. Times that I can't even help myself. Times that I can't escape.." Andi sighed. She hugged him back lightly, glad to have someone that cared. Someone other than just her father. She loved him of course, but he always looked at her with regret. She wasn't sure if he regretted having her, or if it was just that her felt bad for what she had to go through, but it bothered her.

Roan looked at Andi fiercly. "I can try can't I? And I will, you can count on that." He said decidedly. He was going to help her no matter what, just like he said. "Andi you hafta let me know what's going on. You know I would never think any different of you. Trust me."
