Mixing Something Up

Paige was glad Andi had invited her to tryouts, but she was still unsure. "I'll think about it." was all she said, but in her mind she was already going over a conversation she would have in the future with her brother about it. As she was deep in thought, she heard a thud and saw Andi jump up out of the corner of her eye. "Oh, my!" exclaimed Paige and followed Andi's lead. Andi had already hoisted him up by the time she got there, so she just asked, "Are you okay, Tony?" at about the same time Andi did. After recovering a little, she moved her attention from Tony to Andi, who was transforming her nose. "Woah...cool." she said, unaware that she was a metmorphmagus.

Andi turned her attention to Paige with a grin. "That's one thing I don't mind inheriting from my mother. It's quite amusing. I can make my hair red and gold before Quidditch matches too. Always pumps up the team to see their colors flying." Andi chuckled. She thought back to last year when her team started on a winning streak, all thanks to their high spirits from her hair changing colors. "You really should think about trying out. It's good to do other activities. You meet more people and stuff. Plus, Quidditch is good excersize. I have to do it, I eat too much."

Paige grinned at the thought of her red and gold hair. "I think I just might..." she said, lowering her eyes to her feet for a moment. Luckily, she had a high metabolism and wieght was never an issue. "It sounds like fun." she added, liking the idea of trying out more and more. Maybe Drake would even give her some of his tips for flying so swiftly.

Jackie finished her potion making and was walking to the back of the classroom when she heard Andi talking about quidditch. "Oooh quidditch, one of my favorite topics! Hows it going guys?" she exclaimed, grinning at both of them. Jackie had met Paige a few times before, so Paige returned her smile with familiarity.

Andi nodded eagerly, Paige seemed really cool and Andi wouldn't mind having her around more. "It's definately fun. Plus, if you're anything like Drake, there's no way we could lose." Andi, as captain, had to know the skill of all of the players for the other houses. Andi turned around as she heard Jackie coming. "Jackie! Ah, one of my other lovely teammates. We were talking about the possibility of Paige trying out for the team this year. Help me talk her into it, but don't tell her too much about how rough my practices can get. Don't want to scare her away like the last one.." Andi grinned. She recalled last year when one of the possible recruits had left after the first practice.

Paige grimaced. "I've had some practice with Drake. He played rough too. One time him and his friend sandwiched me but they slipped and i was ran into the muddy ground. I was taken to Mungo's for a broken neck and two brokedn ribs. It wasn't fun." she said, replaying the scene in her head. She was perfectly fine within a few hours after being at Mungo's though, and was dragged back out the next day.

Jackie grinned. "Practices can get rough and dirty, especially in the rain. But it's definately a thrill. That'd be awesome if you tried out. I've always wanted to see if you got the amazing skills in your genes as Drake did." she nodded. "But if you didn't, thats okay too." she added, hoping not to come off mean or anything.

"Ouch." Andi exclaimed. She was almost happy to hear it though, if Paige could go through that and still play Quidditch than she could handle Andi's practices. Andi was getting more excited by the second as the talk of Quidditch continued. "Yeah, the Simmons Quidditch genes must be pretty amazing." Andi said with a grin. Andi looked out the window, and saw that the day was nice outside and the wheels started to turn in her head. "Let's skip out of here. The teacher won't notice. We can summon our brooms and go fly around for a while." Andi had a devilish look in her eyes, which were slowly turning a bright, blue color. Her eyes changed to blue when she wanted to be in the air.

Jackie's eyes lit up in approval and a grin formed on her lips at the thought of getting outside to fresh air.

Paige was careful not to show any look on uncertainty and smiled. She still wanted to talk to her brother before she actually started playing. But a ride outside din't exactly mean anything..."That sounds great!" she answered and with a flick of her wand, her books were cleaned up and swept into her bag.

Andi grinned as the two seemed to approve of the idea. Andi quickly gathered her stuff and got ready to leave. "Alright, we need a distraction of some... Tony!" Andi grinned devilishly over at the younger student. "He'd be perfect.." Andi looked expectantly at the other two. Some people had problems with using younger students to do their dirty work.

Jackie and Paige both looed to Tony and waved at him. "He'll work..."

[Justly]

Tony winced. They knew he'd do it, and he knew he'd do it.
"Yes?" He asked weakly, smiling slightly. "Can I help you three somehow?"

Andi grinned as Tony looked over. She almost felt bad about using the poor kid, but with another look out the window all of her bad thoughts were replaced with determination. "Alright, Tony we want to get out of here and we need you to help us. I would totally owe you if you helped. We just need you to make some kind of distraction.. so we can sneak out the door." Andi smiled as sweetly as was possible for her and bounced with excitement. She knew that the second they had called him over, he was ready to help.

[Justly]

Tony sighed, wiht one last ruefull look towards the door he nodded.
"L'right then. Just be ready..." He muttered turning around to face the front of the classroom.
When he was sure the teacher wasn't looking, he pressed his foot firmly against a couldron full of potion and then gave a good push, shoving the whole thing out onto the floor.
"MR.BOOT!"
"Uh... Sorry professor, I stumbled again and, well, it just happened. A second later, another couldron toppled over, the first one having rolled into it.
"Oh crap," Tony muttered, not exactly planning on that little turn of events.

Andi grinned and nodded at Tony. She inched towards the door, motioning for the others to follow her. "Thanks kiddo, I owe you big time." She mumbled as Tony walked to the front. As soon as the first cauldron hit the ground, Andi was sprinting put the door and down the hallway. She punched the air in triumph as she escaped the dungeons and turned to wait for the others.

Jackie grinned at Tony and ran after Andi. "Thank goodness." she said with a whoop. Paige was the last to escape the classroom. She rounded the corner and caught up with them, a laugh bubbling up inside her. "That was exciting. And Tony did one hell of a job. " she said, linking arms with both of them and skipping down the hall. "Let's get outta here." This was a first for Paige. She would have never even thought to skip class to go outside, but what a bloody brilliant idea.

The three filed out of the castle doors and Paige pulled out her wand, Jackie following suit. "Accio Nimbus 2000!" and "Accio Firebolt" escaped their mouths in a rush.

Andi nodded in agreement. The kid had done exceptionally well, no one would notice they were gone for quite some time. "How often do you do this Paige? I usually drag Jackie along whenever I get out of class." Andi looked over at the two, her face still bubbling with excitement. Andi just hoped her father didn't hear about her ditching class.. again. She took out her wand and called for her Thunderbolt to come. Within seconds, she had her broom in hand and was excitedly awaiting the other two brooms.
