Sitting Alone

[Andi Lupin]

Derrek cursed. "Let me down, and I will calmly explain what happened. Deal?" Derrek looked into her eyes, hoping she would let him down. He wasn't fond of heights. "Plus, I didn't push her. I just helped her in the water." He chuckled silently to himself, not wanting to tick her off any more.

[Ophelia Rose]

"Fine, if you run away I'll have to hurt you." Ophelia said. She let him down, looking in his eyes. "Okay, explain." She said. She shook her head, convincing herself that she didn't like him. She couldn't stop looking at him, and hated herself for it. "Don't say that, I'll lift you up again." She threatened.

[Andi Lupin]

"Alright, I'm not going anywhere." Derrek promised. He didn't have much else to do anyways. "Well, I was sitting at the party, she dragged me onto the dancefloor totally drunk. I went along with her, she seemed like she was distressed. Then she started kissing me, and then I decided to take her somewhere where the party vibes wouldn't get to her. We were on our way out and she started to try to get me in a closet, which I was more than willing to go along with. Some guy came, and she pushed me away. Maybe I was just hurt by her leading me on." Derrek summed up the night as best he could, leaving out the little detail that he was just using Starla to get some.

[Ophelia Rose]

"I don't believe you." Ophelia said, she did believe him. She didn't want him to leave. "Tell the truth." She didn't want to believe that Starla would do that but knew she did. "Wanna go see if Addy's okay? It is your fault after all." She suggested.

[Andi Lupin]

"Fine, I'll go with you, but I told you the truth." Derrek shrugged. He didn't care one way or another, she could think he lied if she wanted. He did admit, it did seem a bit out of character for Starla. But, people do a lot of things they usually wouldn't when they drank. "Better believe your little friend did exactly what I said. She was just using me to get at another guy. Whore" He found the whole situation amusing.

[Ophelia Rose]

Ophelia grabbed Derrek's collar. "Don't call Starla a whore." She threatened. She grabbed his hand and lead him to the hospital wing. When they got there she didn't let go. "Is Addy okay?" Ophelia asked

Derrek shook his head in wonder. What did it matter? She was certainly acting like one... He stood back from Starla and Addy, not wanting to be near them.

Starla looked over at Ophelia and Derrek with curiosity in her eyes.. "She'll be fine, no thanks to you Derrek.." Starla turned back to Addy, a concerned sister look apparant on her face.

[Ophelia Rose]

Addy opened her eyes and pulled herself up. She looked at Ophelia and Derrek and said "Are you guys dating?!?!?!" She asked in astonishment. Ophelia let go of Derrek's hand. "No." She said, thinking 'I wish.' Addy got off of the bed, she could barely stand. She grabbed Starla's arm to stay up.

Derrek almost laughed at the thought. Him and Ophelia? It's not like she wasn't good to look at but, she was a Hufflepuff. Dating Hufflepuffs was out, but he didn't have a problem leading her on. "What do you think kid, we look good together?" He asked Addy pulling Ophelia closer to him.

Starla watched on, her eyes full of fury. She knew what he was up to, but she wasn't about to say anything. She supported Addy with her arm, trying not to look at Derrek.

[Ophelia Rose]

"Very." Addy said. She walked up to them, making them hold hands. "You guys are a cute couple. Addy didn't realize what she was getting Ophelia into. Ophelia giggled and said, "Kids." Looking at Derreck, then Starla. She knew that Starla knew about what Ophelia thought.

[Andi]

"Yeah, kids." Derrek chuckled. He took Ophelia's hand willingly. "Kids are usually right. Meet me in the charms cooridor tonight." he whispered so only Ophelia could hear. "Glad to see you're okay kiddo. I have to leave though. Catch you around." Derrek waved goodbye to the others and quickly left.

Starla couldn't do anything but watch. She knew he just wanted to use Ophelia and by the look in her eyes, he might get what he wanted.

[Ophelia Rose]

Ophelia smiled. "Bye, Derrek." She said. She sat down on Addy's hospital bed. "He asked me to meet him in the charms corridor tonight, should I go?" She asked Starla. No matter what she said Ophelia was still going. "Yes, you should." Addy said.

[Andi Lupin]

"No, I don't think you should." Starla muttered. She knew that Ophelia wasn't actually going to listen, but she had to try. "He's not a nice guy, you should just forget about him and go after someone else. Anyone else. Hell, go after Aiden if you want." Starla didn't mean to say Aiden's name, but she couldn't help herself.

[Ophelia Rose]

"But, he's so. He's soo, Derrek. He's amazing." Ophelia said, lying down, staring at the ceiling. She was still going to go. She wasnt gunna let him get to her though. She still liked him.

[Andi Lupin]

"Hey, Abby. Why don't you run along, Ophelia and I have to do some homework." Starla was trying to get alone with Ophelia. She wasn't about to let that retched boy mess with anyone else. "Why don't we go to the library Ophelia?" That was the last place Derrek would bem so Starla would be safe to warn her new friend.
