Andi jerked back from the pictures and turned away embarassed. Not exactly the kind of magazine you want your boyfriend to catch you drooling over. She hopped out of the seat, eager to get away from the magazine.. until later. "Uhm, right. Yeah. Let's go." She muttered almost pushing him away from the booth.

Jackie blushed too, grabbing the magazine and stashing it in her bag. "Yep I'm ready. Thanks for the drinks. Ready Ellie?" she said in a rush, standing up and pushing in her chair. She followed them out, staying a few feet behind Andi and Roan. The cold immediately overwhelmed her skin and she dug her hands into her coat pockets.

"Yeah, let's go," Ellie hopped out of the booth behind everyone. She walked a few steps behind Andi and Roan, and walked next to Jackie. She pouted as the cold nipped at her nose. She pulled the collar on her jacket higher to cover some of her face. She shoved her hands in her pockets, and kept walking. "So, Andi has a crush on my dad, hmm?" She laughed.

Roan flashed a grin over his shoulder. "Yeah well I've always had a crush on Alicia Spinnet, so fair is fair." He laughed, and grabbed onto Andi's arm and pulled her along. He made a discreet motion to Jackie and Ellie to stay behind. "Come on Andi, we don't want to miss it." He glanced again at the sky. They would probably make it. He hurried down a few more streets till they reached the mountain that towered over Hogsmede. Ignoring any protests from Andi, he swung her into his arms and started to carry her up the mountain.

"Can you at least give me a hint as to where you're taking me? You know I can't stand not knowing!" Andi complained. Truth be told, Andi found surprises exhilirating and she was quite looking forward to getting to where they were going. She looked up at mountain, the snow was falling lightlly around it making the scene look like a postcard. She had been a bit reluctant to go out in the cold, but Roan was hugging her close and she felt quite warm. "It's really pretty." She mumbled more to herself than anyone else.

"Yes it is," Roan murmured, but he only had eyes for Andi. He continued up the boulder strewn mountain for a bit longer, and with a last glance at the sky, he set her down. He placed his arm around her waist and steered her toward a small opening in the mountain. They squeezed through it. Inside was a dismally lit cave. In the center was a chocolate flower closely intertwined with an actual flower in a vase. Besides it was a thick blanket that was neatly folded and an old copy of the Daily Prophet. He let go of her momentarily and let her wander around the cave a bit. "Care to take a guess who used this place?"

Andi looked around and felt a strange feeling. The place seemed familiar, like been to it before. Andi racked her brain trying to remember, when suddenly it clicked. "I've seen this place... in a dream. I was here with.. a dog. A big, black dog. Almost like Sirius used to transform into.." She hadn't known that Sirius had hidden here for some time. She looked around and picked up one of the old Daily prophets, the headline read "Murderer Still on the Run." She grimaced as she saw Sirius' face. She'd heard so much about him, and felt close to him even though he had died before her birth. Her father had told her many times that she reminded him of Sirus, so she had a special bond with the man. "This is his isn't it. His cave?" Andi has a smile on her face, she finally felt close to the man she once admired. She turned back and hugged Roan, not letting go for some time. "This is perfect. How did you know?" She whispered. She hadn't really told anyone about her hero. Roan must have really tried hard.

Roan smiled almost sheepishly. "Well you know... I know how much you look up up to your dad, and Sirius was a great prankster. I just... put two and two together. But come on, your surprise isn't over yet!" He grabbed her hand and pulled her over to the flowers and the blanket. He bent down and took the intertwined flowers out of the vase. He had specifically charmed to the chocolate to be hard and never melt. He leaned forward and put the flowers into her hair, their lips brushing as he did so. He picked up the blanket and wrapped it around both their shoulders as they walked back out into the cold. He cleared an area of ground with his wand and sat down with her, making sure they had an excellent view of the sky.

Andi followed Roan, the grin on her face never wavering. She knew Roan was smart, he just never used it for anything. She felt special that he had gone through so much trouble for her. He paid so much atention to the little details. Such as he fact that roses were her favorite flowers, and that watching the sunset was something she loved to do. She sat down and curled up in his lap her head resting on his chest. "This is perfect, I hope you know that."

"Anything is perfect as long as you're there Andi," he whispered into her ear as he wrapped his arms around her slim form. The snow was falling in beautiful spirals around them, and he watched as a snowflake landed delicately on Andi's lips. There were more snowflakes tangled in a lock of her hair that was down over he face, and he brushed it back with one hand as he kissed her. He put as much passion and meaning as he could into it. After what seemed like a few hours he broke the kiss slowly. "I love you, I hope you know that."

Andi returned his kiss with as much passion and intensity as he had given. She wasn't used to having someone like Roan, all the rest of her boyfriends had been horrible to her. She closed her eyes to let the moment sink in, she couldn't think of anywhere she would rather be. Anywhere but Roan's arms just couldn't measure up. She rested her head on his shoulder for a moment. She'd never felt like this before about anyone, not even her fantasy boy Oliver Wood. "I love you too." she whispered. Her voice held fear, things like this usually never worked out for her, but it also held hope. Roan was different, he was special and as long as he still felt the same way about her she'd never let him go.

Roan's response was to hold her tighter, as if they were two bodies sharing one skin, the warmth of the one flowing into the other. Roan's grin was all but set in stone as the sun began its dip beneath the far away mountains. A brilliant red and purple spread across the sky. He craned his neck upward, taking in all the hues and different colors. He turned toward Andi. "I really don't think this moment could get any better." He absentmindedly caressed the small of her back as he said this, caught up with everything.

Andi's face softened as she looked out at the sunset. For some reason, she always felt calm when the sun was setting. No matter what was happening in her life, she could just sit out and watch the sunset and for that moment, everything would seem okay. Sometimes she wondered if it was because it made her feel closer to her father. The sun setting was a sign of werewolves, since their transformations happened almost immediately after. And other times she assumed that it was because it made her feel closer to both her parents. Her father had proposed to her mother at the beach as the sun was setting. Andi took in everything she could, she never wanted to forget this moment. She snuggled closer to Roan and didn't say anything. She just nodded in agreement.

With one last broken sunbeam, the sky began to darken. Roan didn't want it to become pitch dark before they started in, and so rather regrettably, he stood up, pulling Andi up with him. "Well... we better go back in before Jackie and Ellie start thinking we disappeared." He said, a sigh barely perceptible in his voice. He really didn't want to go down. It felt so... perfect, just the two of them up there. He wrapped his arm around her waist and paused momentarily before bending down and picking up the blanket. He tossed it around their shoulder's again, and with a muttered spell, sent the newspapers and vase back to the common room. They started walking along the path that lead to the base of the mountain.

Andi followed along with a last longing look back at the cave. The feeling of calm that she had felt moments before dissipated as they reached the outskirts of the cave. Being closer to Sirius brought peace to her uneasy thoughts. She shook off the thoughts and looked over at Roan. "Thanks for taking me up there, it was really sweet of you." She whispered in his ear. She leaned over and kissed him on his cheek lightly.
