Roan's breath made mists in front of him as they approached the Three Broomsticks. His fingers were curled tightly around Andi's, banishing some of the warmth. Following in their steps was Ellie and Jackie, and they quickly sought the warmth and bustle of the Three Broomsticks. "I wasn't expecting it to be so cold today," he said sheepishly. It really was bad luck. One of the only days when they are allowed outside and it was freezing. Oh well... maybe a heating charm... Roan considered his plan. Maybe he should wait for a warmer day and just sneak out. But no, that might get Andi in trouble, and that would ruin the whole thing. He led them to a empty booth in the Three Broomsticks and ordered 4 butterbeers. "But you don't get to take more than a sip of yours," He told Andi grinning. "Unless you don't want to be able to walk straight for the next few hours."

Ellie followed a bit behind Roan and Andi, letting them have their time together. She got kind of jealous watching the pair. She sighed, wanting someone for herself, but quickly shook it off. She looked at her feet as she walked. Despite the fact that she had her boots, her toes felt like they had frostbite, and they would fall off if she walked on them wrong. It was THAT cold. She followed the couple inside, and sat across from them as Roan ordered them butterbeers. She knew Andi's problem, and gave him a questioning look. She wasn't too close with Andi, yet she knew her problem. "But you don't get to take more than a sip of yours," He said, and she looked down. The drinks came and Ellie thanked him and took a sip.

Andi was nervous, but she would never admit to it. Honestly, she'd never been on an actual date before and she wasn't sure how this would work out. She'd have to thank Ellie and Jackie later, as her mind trailed off thinking of how to thank the two as they entered into the Three Broomsticks. She flashed a quick smile, the smell of butterbeer was apparant as soon as the door opened. Andi loved the way the Three Broomsticks smelled, it smelled a little like her own home. It was very cozy, friendly atmosphere and something she dearly missed. She took her seat next to Roan, never letting go of his hand, the warth felt good on such a cold day. Andi barely heard the conversations, hr mind full of thoughts of her mother. It was like this every year for her, as her family was all she had outside of school. She graciously took her butterbeer, sipping it slowly. "Just a little.."

Jackie had momentarily gotten distracted by a first year who was lost and needed to know the way to Honeydukes. Rubbing her hands together, she hurried into The Three Broomsticks and glanced around the room for Roan, Andi, and Ellie. A smile formed on her lips as she spotted the familiar faces and she made her way through the crowd over to them. "Hey guys! Man, it's freezing out." she exclaimed, taking a seat next to Ellie. "Thank you!" she said with a warm smile to Madame Rosmerta , who placed a mug of butterbeer in front of her. Jackie sipped her's slowly and let the warm liquid slide down her throat, enjoying every bit of it.

Roan smiled at Jackie. "About time you came! We thought you vanished." He relinquished his hold on Andi's fingers, only to put his arm around her. He sipped his drink and kept an eye on Andi's. He really didn't want her to drink too much. Her being tipsy would be bad today. It was bad enough that it was freezing... He made eye contact with Jackie and Ellie, trying to tell them that he was about to leave to prepare his surprise. "Hey, guys, I need to do something. I'll be back real quick." He grinned, and got out of the booth, leaning down and kissing Andi before he left. He hurried out of the Three Broomsticks to get his surprise ready.

Jackie watched Roan go and then her eyes widened as she swung her head around to Andi and Ellie. "Oh! I almost forgot to tell you Andi, there's a new edition of the World's Hottest Quidditch Stars! I looked it over this morning. I was looking for you, but you must've been at breakfast or something. Oliver Wood is still number one though, of course." she exclaimed with a grin, glancing at Ellie. "You have an awesome dad..."

"Oh, Merlin," Ellie moaned, taking a swig of her butterbeer. "People send hate mail to mum, quite amusing, actually, Alex and I love reading them," She laughed. "Dad gets so much fan mail, it's bonkers." She sipped her butterbeer and drummed her fingers on the table. "The funniest part is they're not all old ladies, he gets some from girls at Hogwarts, some send pictures. Alex likes to keep those..." She shook her head and took a long swig.

Andi snapped out of her thought the second she heard hot and Quidditch and players in a row. "What was that? Oh... I haven't gotten this one." Andi mumbled as she leaned in to read the magazine. She barely even noticed Roan leaving. She listened to the conversation as she read the magazine, or rather.. looked at the pictures. "Yeah, I'd imagine it would be quite entertaining to read. I think I used to send some when I was younger... It was pathetic. I haven't sent any pictures though."

Jackie laughed and nodded, "I may have tried that awhile ago too..." she admitted, glancing at the pictures again as Andi flipped through the pages. "I replicated the best photos of the magazine and hung them in the dorm...we'll be surrounded by pure greatness." she added, taking another sip of her butterbeer.

Ellie's head shot up. "Please don't tell me there are half naked pictures of my father in our dorm," She looked at Jackie. "Please, please, please!" She finished off her butterbeer and sighed. There were other hot quidditch players, too. There's the seeker from the Wasps, yeah, he's hot... Ellie was lost in thought for a while.

Andi grinned. "Please tell me Oliver is on the celing above my bed!" Andi drifted off into fantasy land for a few moments. She would be the first to admit that she'd had a huge crush on Ellie's dad since the first time she met him. "The one of oliver in his boxers.. or the one without the boxers. Or the one or that guy Robert in his little red underwear!"

"ANDI! The one WITHOUT the boxers?! What pictures of my dad have you been LOOKING at?" Her face turned red. She was dreading going back to the dorm. Really, really dreading. "Although, I wouldn't mind the little red underwear IN my bed," Ellie joked, and ruffled Andi's hair.

Jackie laughed again and gave a slight nod, looking at Ellie. "...I couldn't resist, he's like the god of hotties. But I can assure you he's somewhat clothed." she replied with a bright smile. Jackie finished up her drink and got distracted by the passer-bys as she daydreamed about Quidditch guys.

Andi pouted. "Aw, why the clothes? You know it's better without. I guess, for Ellie's sake we'll have them on. Can't say I won't have one under my pillow though." She grinned over at Ellie. Andi was only half joking, at one point there had been a picture of Oliver in the nude. "Think you could get him to personally sign one for me?"

Roan was panting by the time he ran and set his surprise. He jogged back toward the Three Broomsticks stopping only to catch his breath. He entered smiling, happy to dispel the cold with the warmth of the room. He made his way back to their table. "Hey guys! Did you miss me?" He sat down only long enough to pay for their drinks, and then he stood up again. "Okay, lets go. Andi I have something to show you." He said, grinning. He had planned this for a while, and he hoped she liked it. The sun was setting, and he needed to hurry if they were to make it on time.
