The Hogwarts Express: going to school

Milo twisted his face so it looked as if he was in deep thought. "Hmm, I think I am implying that. I have the wits of a Ravenclaw, and Tony has the courage of a Gryffindor. Put the two together, and you get an undefeatable pair." he replied, grinning. "Isn't that right Tony?" he asked.

Cygnus rolled his eyes. "I'm really not in the mood Brett, I'm tired," he said flatly. He rested his head on the glass of the window. He really wished the train would move a little faster. He wanted to be at school and eat his supper, then crawl into a warm bed and sleep.

"Tired? Well that's not good enough! You, my dear friend, are a sourpuss." She smiled mischievously at him, and as she said this she jabbed her wand toward him for exaggeration on not, you, and sourpuss. Maybe she was pushing her luck, but she at least didn't have to worry about him using the cruciatus curse on her.

And the fact that were nearly full grown men and your all slightly below us in the matter of sizee does give us another good point."Tony said nodding sagely
Gwyneth tossed the book besdie her with rather well aimed accuracy and ended up hitting him on teh forehead.Gwyneth's face drew back from an evil smirk to a regretful one.
"Oh,now I'm all sorry I did that!"
"Well...I guess I could forgive you for the condiserable lump thats going to be throbbing now."Tony said shrugging.
"Oh,I wasn't talking about hitting you.Its that I shouldn't have thrown that book...It was a gift."She explained frowning as she grabbed it and cradeled it in her hands.
Tony looked weary."Gee thanks for your thoughtfulness on my part."

Milo laughed and elbowed Tony lightly on the arm. "Well...I think we have to back down bud. How are we suppose to win if we can't harm them?" he said. "And a brain fight would be kind of pointless. First of all, I'd win. And second, well...I'd win."

Gwyneth made a face,"Your kidding right?You wish Milo."
Tony simply grinned shaking his head and studing his paper."Uh,I think thats about everything."
"You've only done half a page."
"Well you know,normal people only do half a page when thats all they need."He said defensivly as he shoved it into his bag.

Noemi nodded. "We would totally win." She agreed with Laryn. "We're smart and pretty." She giggled and crossed one long leg over the other.

Cydney pouted. "Aw, Cygnus...don't be like that! We have similar names. And you're pretty, I'm pretty, will you be my friend?" She smiled brightly, trying her best not to laugh. SHe looked like an excited little kid, but did she care? Not one bit. Her pale cheeks were rosy and her eyes were bright.

Milo gave a small shrug and a nod of his head. "Yeah, maybe. But aren't we pretty too?" he replied with an innocent smile. He started to absent-mindedly twirl his wand between his fingers as he watched his friends around him.

Laryn giggled, "Oh yes Milo, you're stunningly gorgeous." She looked down at her stomach, rubbing it a little.

"Owww..... My stomach hurts. I think it needs some sweets." She began digging through her bag, searching for some coins. She heard some jingling from the bottom and assumed she had enough. "Anyone want to come with me to find the snack cart?"

"Well some of you are pretty anyway."Tony mumbled shooting a meaningful glance towards Gwyneth.
Gwyn's eyes narrowed and she reached up for her bag."I know I put my wand around here somewhere..."
"Uhhuh...Hey,Sure I'll go with you Laryn.Maybe well run into more of our less dangerous friends."He added offhandedly as he lept from the compartment as quickly as possible.
"Found it!"
"C'mon Laryn."Tony said/squeaked.

Laryn stifled a laugh and said "Run Tony, Run!" She followed him out of the compartment and weighed in her mind which way to go. "Does the cart start at the front or the back?"

Miloe laughed and ran a hand through his hair dramatically. "Gorgeous eh?" he said. Before the two left, he tossed Tony some coins and said, "Buy me something good!"

"Alright."Tony called closing the door before Gwyn could think og a suitable hex."The front I think."He said thoughtfully tucking his hands behind his back and shrugging.He puzzled it over for a moment before nodding."Yeah,I'm sure it comes from the front.Come on lets go look for it."He said cheerfully starting off,pocketing Milo's coins so he wouldn't drop them.

Gwyneth put her wand away and picked up her book.She quirked a brow,"Gorgeous?Oh,sure Milo,your radiant."

Milo pouted playfully and slipped a hand into hs pocket. "Now you guys are just messin with me." he replied, but couldn't help to smile. He returned his gaze to the window again for a moment and then back to Gwyneth and Neomi. "Anything interesting happen over the summer?" he inquired.

"Come off it,"Cygnus said irritably. While he never got physically violent, he was endowed with a good verbal punch or two.
